Looking to get into model shape? We sat down with Kate Lynne Bock, gorgeous Canadian model-turned-New Yorker, to unveil her workout tips, favorite go-to studios, and fitness inspiration.  We’ve seen her breaking a serious sweat all across New York City, booking classes with the BurnThis App at studios like SLT, Flex Pilates, and Pure Barre.  Now we know how she got that killer Sports Illustrated Swimsuit body! 

Q: How would you describe your “fitness personality”?

A: I’m definitely “Work Hard/Play Hard” and I love to switch it up!

Q: What studios are in your regular workout routine when you’re in NYC?

A: I love Modo Yoga NYC, Flex Studios, and some sort of cardio class.  Modo is a hot yoga studio and perfect for after a long flight or when you want to refresh and sweat it all out.  Flex is great for pilates and barre classes, which are great to lengthen and tone.  I also love to try new workouts; there are so many choices out there now and it’s always interesting to discover new ways to sweat!

Q: You are constantly on the go! What are your secret tips for staying fit while traveling? 

A: Making sure to get a workout in before and/or after a flight always keeps me feeling my best.  Sometimes it’s hard with jet lag, but I never regret getting at least a little jog in when I’ve arrived in a new city.

Q: We need to know your celebrity fitness crush! What celeb body do you sweat the most?

A: Gisele!

Q: Fill in the blank: I workout because…

A: It feels good for my body; I crave it and it keeps my head clear and ready for anything.

Q: What is the best workout advice you’ve received that you would share with others?

A: Don’t get too intimidated by workouts – try anything.

Q: What are your latest fitness obsessions?

A: I am a lululemon fan for life.  I just got a couple new tank tops, they are so comfortable look good for an after workout smoothie!

Q: Do you have an all-time favorite workout experience?

A: Depends on my mood!  I can love a crazy intensity spin class, a relaxing, chilled out yoga class, or a run outside in nice weather with my music.
