My defining moment happened when I walked into a dance class after having taken so much time away from dance to work on my own fitness method — and realized that I had become a much stronger dancer than ever before. I can’t believe I didn’t know about all of this fitness work while I was at the height of my dance career!
Best Fit Tip:
Listen to your body! The best thing I learned as a dancer was to pay attention to my body signals – to know when to rest, when to eat, when to try a new approach, and when to let loose and totally go for it. Your body will also tell you the difference between good and bad pain, and it will let know when something you’re doing isn’t working for you. You are a much better barometer of what you need than anyone else!

Everything from body bands and therabands to tennis balls, Melt balls, hair ties, my Body Conceptions water bottle, protein bars, and my portable speakers. I feel like a turtle carrying my house on my back from place-to-place all day.
Favorite Local Post-Burn Treat:
I’m currently obsessed with Sin-a–Buns from Juice Press. They have only 190 calories, and they taste AMAZING. They’re full of healthy ingredients and give me energy all afternoon.
